BIG Lotto for Health Charities
- Your purchase of lottery entries is from ANC Trading Limited (The Promoter), solely in accordance with the terms under which the Promoter from time to time promotes its lottery.
- By entering BIG Lotto for Health Charities you agree to comply with these Rules, the rules and regulations of the Gambling Commission under legislation laid down in the Gambling Act 2005 and any further instructions or rules issued by the Promoter from time to time.
- The Promoter:
- may amend these Rules at any time, and
- will advise you of any significant changes to these Rules by publishing them on BIG Lotto for Health Charities’ website.
- You represent and agree that:
- You are 18 years of age or over;
- You will not buy or purport to buy an entry to BIG Lotto for Health Charities on behalf of anybody under the age of 18; and
- You will provide accurate entry information, including your name, personal address, telephone number and email address and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise.
- You agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any prize if you are unable to substantiate to the Promoter your representations under paragraphs 4 (a) and (b) above.
- Entry is open to residents of mainland Great Britian and Northern Ireland only (this excludes Isle of man and The Channel Islands).
- You accept that BIG Lotto for Health Charities is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by Warwick District Council under account number 00401 and that the Promoter may be unable to provide refunds or replacements once you have purchased your Lottery entry/ entries.
- The Promoter will comply with the advertising Codes of Practice issued by the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) and the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice that apply to the form and media in which it advertises its gambling facilities and will apply the principles included within these Codes of Practice for media not explicitly covered.
- The prizes for BIG Lotto for Health Charities are printed on the marketing and promotional materials provided and are advertised on BIG Lotto for Health Charities website. There are no alternatives to any prize and no interest is payable.
- Winners need to claim or donate their prize via the online players area and an email address will be required so that we can notify you of your win.
- The cost of each entry is £1. More than one entry can be purchased but no more than 5 entries . Payments must be made in advance by one of the methods permitted. Direct Debit payments of £5 per entry will ensure that you never miss a BIG Lotto for Health Charities draw and any excess payments that don’t play in a draw will be donated back to your chosen charity.
- The Promoter may (without giving any reason or notice at its absolute discretion) decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription, or terminate or suspend BIG Lotto for Health Charities scheme.
- The Promoter will conduct the BIG Lotto for Health Charities draw every Friday or on the next available business day . The draw will be made utilising a Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been tested and approved by an independent, Gambling Commission approved, third-party test house.
- Prizes will be paid by BACS and winners will be notified by email within 5 working days of the draw taking place.
- Any prizes that remain unclaimed for over 12 months will be cancelled and the unclaimed prizes will be treated as a donation.
- The winning numbers will be published on BIG Lotto for Health Charities website and will be available via BIG Lotto for Health Charities Office helpline from the following working day. - No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or for any other matter for which liability may not be limited by law.
- The Promoter is not liable to you for:
- Loss or damage, including the right to receive a prize, suffered by you if you have not complied with these rules, any relevant participation instructions or the rules and regulations of the Gambling Commission, under legislation laid down in the Gambling Act 2005;
- The Promoter's failure or inability to contact you and/or award any prize due to any errors omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details you have provided, or your failure to update these if they change;
- Loss or damage incurred by you in connection with or arising from participating in BIG Lotto for Health Charities.
- Any delays or failures in BIG Lotto for Health Charities website, or any software, hardware or any other systems used by the Promoter for the administration of BIG Lotto for Health Charities; and
- Any failure or delay beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
- The Promoter is not liable to you in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise in connection with BIG Lotto for Health Charities for loss of venue , contract, profits, anticipated savings or loss of data, any special or indirect or consequential losses or any loss of goodwill or reputation.
- All warranties, conditions or guarantees relating to BIG Lotto for Health Charities made by or on behalf of the Promoter whether express or implied by law, in the course of dealings or otherwise, are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- The Promoter's liability to you shall be limited to the amount of any prize which has become due to you.
- Any cancellation of an existing subscription will not affect your prior purchase of BIG Lotto for Health Charities entries nor your rights as a holder of such entries, providing that you have complied with the foregoing obligations.
- If you choose not to continue playing, you may cancel at any time by notifying the Promoter by post, email or by telephone. Any subscriptions you may have paid in advance will continue to play in BIG Lotto for Health Charities until your credit expires unless you specifically request a refund. Any remaining payments under £1 will be treated as a donation. If you subscribe by Direct Debit or Standing Order, it is your responsibility to cancel this with your bank.
- You may be asked for a quote or photograph for marketing purposes.
- The Promoter reserves the right to use winners’ names for promotional purposes. These will only be used in summary e.g., Mr G from Guildford.
- The Promoter is not liable for any lost, stolen, delayed, incomplete or illegible entries, or entries that reach us after the closing date, or for any delay in bank payments. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery.

- BIG Lotto for Health Charities will keep your data secure. We never sell your personal data and will not share it with other companies unless it is necessary to provide you with information or a service that you have requested from us. We may use your information to contact you in the future about BIG Lotto for Health Charities activities and will share it with the Charity you have chosen to support so that they can keep in touch with you. If you would prefer not to receive communications from us, please let us know by contacting the Lottery Helpline (01524 753254 Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm excluding bank holidays).
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
